These terms apply to anyone using ShutterMatch, whether you're browsing for a photographer or listed as one. By using the site, you agree to them.
What this site is
ShutterMatch is a directory. We connect people looking for a photographer with photographers who list their work here. We don't employ the photographers listed, don't process payments, and don't manage bookings — any agreement about pricing, scheduling, deliverables, or payment is strictly between you and the photographer.
Photographer listings
If you're listed as a photographer, you're responsible for making sure your profile — your bio, pricing, specialties, availability, and portfolio — is accurate and that you own or have the right to use every image you upload. We review new applications by hand, but we don't verify every detail of a listing, and we don't guarantee any photographer will receive inquiries or bookings.
Reviews
Reviews should be honest and based on real experience with that photographer. We don't independently verify that a reviewer actually booked or worked with the photographer they're reviewing. Photographers can approve or reject reviews submitted on their listing; we may also remove a review at our discretion if it's abusive, fake, or violates these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to submit false information, impersonate someone else, harass another user, or upload content you don't have the rights to. We can remove content, suspend a listing, or restrict access for anyone who violates these terms.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing or review, the availability of the site, or the quality of work from any photographer listed here. Any work you commission from a photographer found through this site is an agreement between you and them, not with us.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. If we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
